UK Master Series Drawings Drafted for Omnia Station Platform and TTC

UK Master Series Drawings Drafted for Omnia Station Platform and TTC

Draft drawings have been prepared for two new versions of Omnia, ready for inclusion in UKMS. The drawings of the already approved Station Platform include reach ranges from 2000mm to 7200mm and feature insulators mounted in the catenary support and registration tube. The Omnia TTC, which is currently going through the product approval process, takes the concept further with 2-station platform cantilevers reaching over a 2-track railway, increasing speed and reducing costs over a traditional TTC. Both drawings will need reviewing by a technical authority, but we hope the station platform drawing can be added early in 2024, and potentially the TTC soon after.
