Measure contact wire wear, accurately and safely with PACE’s Con-tec Gauge System. Ergonomically designed using lightweight, non-conductive polymer materials, this system reduces proximity to OLE and avoids risk from working at height. With a fully compatible adapter to existing approved OLE Live Line Working Poles, minimal equipment and labour is needed, saving both time and money.
Contact Wire Wear Measurement
Measures 107, 120, 150, and .3 square inch from low level. Accurate to 0.1mm
Side Wear Measurement
Adjustable between 0- 90 degrees allowing operatives to measure the angle at which the contact wire is most worn.
Bluetooth Enabled
In-built laser enables the operator to record wire wear measurements in real time at ground level via Bluetooth to a paired tablet .

Fully compatible and designed to be mounted on existing Network Rail approved LLWPs (Live Line Working Poles), the design and arrangement of the Con-Tec enables all operator activities to be performed at ground level.
The in-built Laser enables the operator to record wire wear measurements in real time at ground level via Bluetooth to a paired tablet.
The included tablet is pre-installed with software and provides a choice of wire designations used on Network Rail infrastructure. Once the user has selected the correct wire type and a reading is taken, the software will calculate the values and display on screen.
In addition, the optional Go-Pro mount and camera can enable OLE teams to take clear digital HD images of the contact wire that can be used as visual evidence of the condition of the contact wire.
